I met April at Hebron high school and our friendship only grew through college, where we were inseparable roommates at UTD. I remember telling her about this cute guy I met in class, Leo, and she was excited with me as our relationship grew. I think she knew first that Leo would be the one for me. Despite the miles between us now, April and I still excitedly update each other on our lives and encourage our new adventures.

Bridesmaid
I met Aliesa at El Centro, Dallas College, ultrasound school about three years ago. Though it had been a short time, she and I had an instant connection and quickly became close friends. We confided in each other when it got challenging, and celebrated together when we succeeded. She is a true friend who always has my back. Though we don't see each other everyday anymore since graduation, Aliesa and I still go out to make new memories as much as we can.

Bridesmaid
Shannon is my longest friend, as we have been best friends since second grade at Mary Immaculate School. We even joined karate and became black belts together. I remember how sad I was when I found out we would be going to separate high schools, but I was ecstatic to finally have her back as my roommate in college at UTD. Though our distance now keeps us physically apart, Shannon and I will always be close and share memories, old and new.

Bridesmaid
My youngest bridesmaid, Anahí is one of Leo's wonderful cousins. She may not remember, but I met her when she was 6, before her brother was born. Though she's an old lady now, Anahí still loves to eat play-doh and chase bugs. In seriousness, Anahí has made me feel like I am already a part of Leo's family. I'm so excited to see the outstanding person she becomes, and I'm proud to share her last name.
