For anyone with kids (or kids at heart) Calaway park is just outside the western side of Calgary. If you want rides, games, and some classic carnival snacks, hit it up!
Heritage Park

If you want to check out some historic buildings, maybe catch a little boat ride down the river, heritage park is a great place to check out!

For people looking for shopping destinations, crossiron mills is a great stop. Located about 15 minutes north of Calgary, it’s got just about everything.
Calgary Zoo

The Calgary zoo is a great way to spend the day if you love animals! The penguin house is great to cool off in, the big cats are gorgeous, and the hippo tank will scare the pants off you. Best of all, you can get to in from the c-train if you don’t want to worry about parking.
