It’s a wedding… Time to celebrate!

While both brides to be actually went to high school together, neither were quite ready to truly meet each other until fall of 2015 when the two worked together at the EB Games in Leduc. They quickly learned that working with each other made the shifts fly by, and that they could always count on the other to keep the laughs coming. After Alice left, Christine wasn’t far behind. After spending the summer of 2017 together almost every day, they’ve since become inseparable best friends.

On the evening of July 2nd, 2018, Christine and Alice were once again spending time together in Christine’s basement suite. After a very ‘romantic’ night of eating pizza and watching the classic 1997 anime Berserk, the two decided to take the plunge. They shared their first kiss, and have been madly in love ever since. Lucky for them too, because they had just signed a lease to rent a townhouse in Calgary together! A month later they moved into their new home and have been happily together for over three years and still going strong.

Two weeks before their two year anniversary, while Alice was busy playing online with her brother, Christine was decorating their bedroom. She called Alice upstairs to give her a kiss goodnight, and when Alice opened the door she was greeted with flowers, fairy lights, music, and a sign hanging on the wall asking “Will you marry me?” She was a little surprised to have been beaten to the punch (she was going to ask Christine the same question on their anniversary) but thankfully remembered to say yes!
