Flight
The Charleston airport is an easy half an hour drive to downtown Charleston. Parking in the city can be expensive and a pain in the arse so we recommend not renting a car If you don't need it. If you're staying downtown most things are within walking distance or if you're walking in heels a quick lyft or uber.
