Nala has been with Christine since the second year of her PhD program. Alabama born and raised, she has adjusted nicely to the dog beaches and hikes of California's Central Coast. At first, she was a little skeptical of Nic, but she came around quickly once she realized he was quite the dog person. Her favorite food is shrimp and her favorite activities are chasing squirrels and napping in the sun.

Cooper is the happiest dog on earth. He's also the most suspicious dog on earth. Coop and Nic met about two years ago when Coop was just a rescue pup looking a little rough in Lemoore. He adjusted well to his Central Coast lifestyle of temperate hikes and beach frolics. His favorite food is ice cream and his favorite activity is fetch.
