Things to Do

George and I are so excited to welcome you to Chapel Hill and the surrounding area for our wedding weekend. Chapel Hill is one of those towns where a great afternoon can be as simple as wandering Franklin Street, exploring UNC’s beautiful campus, or spending a relaxed afternoon with friends. If you have a little time to explore while you’re here, these are a few of our favorite spots nearby. After the welcome party on Friday, Franklin Street is just a short walk from the Carolina Inn and Graduate and has plenty of places for a nightcap if anyone wants to keep the celebration going. No pressure — it’s not your wedding. If you find yourself wandering Fearrington Village, keep an eye out for the famous black-and-white “Oreo cows.”
