Transportation details for the wedding day will be shared closer to the wedding weekend. Shuttle service is planned for guests staying in the Chapel Hill hotel blocks. For your convenience, shuttles will be provided from the hotels to the ceremony, to the reception, and back to the hotels.

Yes. There is ample parking available at Fearrington for guests who prefer to drive.
The ceremony will take place at Christ Church in Raleigh. The reception will take place at Fearrington, with events both outdoors and inside the barn. Dancing will take place in the tent and continue later in the evening inside the barn. Fearrington’s gardens and village grounds are a beautiful part of the experience — and if you’re lucky, you may even spot the famous black-and-white “Oreo cows” grazing nearby.
Yes. The reception will take place in several locations around the Fearrington property. Everything is within a short and pleasant walk through the gardens and grounds.
While we adore your little ones, the reception will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of a few children in our families that are participating in our wedding ceremony.

June in North Carolina is typically warm and humid, with temperatures in the 80s. Evening temperatures can cool slightly once the sun sets.
Fearrington’s gardens and grounds are beautifully maintained, and the event spaces are well prepared for evening celebrations. If you tend to attract mosquitoes, you may wish to bring insect repellent just in case.

We recommend setting up rentals through either The Black Tux or Generation Tux. Both companies make the process very convenient by allowing you to browse styles online, schedule measurement appointments at nearby locations if desired, submit measurements individually, and have attire shipped directly to you. Our reception will take place in several locations around the Fearrington property, including gardens and outdoor spaces. For women, we recommend block heels or wedges for walking comfortably on the grounds.
