Timing is everything! Only two months after Christina had moved to San Francisco from Jersey City, New Jersey, Scott happened to be in town from Huntsville, Alabama visiting his sister Faith. We matched on Hinge and decided to meet for coffee at Le Marais in the Marina area. It only took two hours for us to realize we'd see each other again. Thanks to remote work, Scott stuck around San Francisco and the rest is history!

We were on a much anticipated trip in Peru to hike Machu Picchu, a destination we talked about visiting during our very first date! While touring Machu Picchu, our guide Juan took us to the top of the citadel for the best view of the entire mountain. It was the perfect photo op, and while Juan told us to close our eyes to "take in the energy of Machu Picchu," Scott got down on one knee! We'll never be able to top this trip!
