Where can I park?

Answer

There are two nearby, free options. You can park overnight, up to 72 hours. Enter one of the following in your map application: 1. Public Parking 100 Douglas Avenue Parking Elgin, IL 60120 2. Public Parking 209 E. Highland Ave., Elgin, IL 60120 Or, if you're lucky you may get a street-spot on Highland Ave!

What do we do if we arrive early?

Answer

Guests arriving prior to 4:30 PM are encouraged to either: 1. Socialize in The Highland Loft Lobby -or- 2. Walk across the street to Las Gorditas De Don Angel for a beverage (only non-alcoholic offered) -or- 3. Take a 3-minute walk to Elgin Public House at 219 E Chicago St, Elgin for cocktails.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

During cocktail hour, there will be hot and cold appetizers and a charcuterie table. Dinner will be served family-style at your table and will include both a chicken and beef entree, vegetable, potato, pasta and salad. We will have a variety of desserts, mini-martinis, and a late-night snack.

Will there be guest activities at the Wedding?

Answer

Yes! Besides celebrating and dancing with us, we'll have the following: 1. Upon arrival, please sign our 'Guest Book' which will be playing cards you can write a sweet note on. We'll take these cards and create a framed piece of art to display in our home! 2. On each table, there will be a small card with a QR Code to scan with your phone. You can upload your photos and share your memories with us! 3. We'll have a photobooth from 8:00-11:00 pm. We hope you have THE BEST time!

Will there be an after-party?

Answer

YES! After the reception ends, we'll be making our way down the street to Elgin Public House and then the Grand Victoria Casino.
