While you’re here celebrating with us, we hope you’ll take some time to explore the natural beauty and local flavors that make this area so unique. Linked are some of our recommendations to help you make the most of the weekend. Additionally, there will be kayaks and bikes on hand to help with your exploration.
Portland
If a small seaside port city with a flourishing food scene and local artisans is up your alley, we highly recommend stopping in Portland. The cobblestone streets of this city are filled with history and art, and it's a favorite of ours in any season. Don't forget to hop on the Casco Bay Ferry to explore the outlying islands.
Acadia National Park
Staying in Bar Harbor will be your best bet for walkable restaurants, shops and gear. LL Bean runs a free bus service from town, which can help bypass getting a parking pass for access to some of the notable hikes, like Cadillac Mountain (be sure to check out sunrise or sunset here).
