What is the RSVP deadline?

We would appreciate RSVPs as soon as possible, though please no later than June 30th.

What is the dress code?

The welcome party on Friday will be a costume party for your interpretation of "seaside" (more detail on our 'Schedule' page), we hope you have fun with it! Saturday's wedding celebrations will be formal (black tie optional) - dress as fancy as you would like! For both days, please be aware that we will be outdoors and partially on sand and grass, especially for those wearing heels.

What transportation options are available in the area?

As Aragosta is located on a small island, there are limited transportation options (Uber/Lyft is essentially non-existent here). We recommend renting a vehicle and encourage carpooling. There will parking for guests near the main building at the venue.

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

While we love your kids, we would also love to have parents enjoy their time freely with us, so celebrations will be adults only. We hope you can understand!

What is the weather typically like in October on Deer Isle?

Answer

Average temperatures in Maine in October ranges from the low-50s to the low-70s during the day and 30s to low-50s at night (°F). We are on the coast, which may feel chillier, so please plan accordingly. Warm/comfortable clothes for after-hours activities are recommended.

Will meals outside of listed events be provided?

Answer

A light breakfast will be provided in the main building at Aragosta between 8-10am on Saturday and Sunday. For lunches during the weekend, please refer to our "Things To Do" page, though light market items will be available at the Aragosta shop on-site.
