Dress for the wedding is bold, colorful black tie. We will include a mood board for more inspiration as we get closer to the wedding date so check back here for more info later!
May in Charlottesville is generally mild and lovely with temperatures in the mid-70s during the day and dropping into the 50s at night. We recommend layering up!
You can check out airports and hotel options on the "travel" section of our website. We will be providing a free shuttle to and from our 2 hotels (The Kimpton and The Omni) and our wedding venue (The Clifton). If you choose to stay elsewhere in Charlottesville, you can Uber or Lyft to one of those options and either take the shuttle or drive yourself. Please note: ride share is not as readily available from the Clifton at the end of the evening so please make accommodations!
Most likely, yes! When you RSVP please note any allergies or restrictions you have and we will work with the culinary team at the Clifton to adjust. If you have rare or severe allergies to multiple things, you may want to reach out directly to see if we can get you a special meal.
We will most likely be doing a casual hang at the Clifton after the wedding but if you want a night out on the town here is what we recommend: The Fitzroy - Open until 2am The Livery Stables - Open until 1:30am The Whiskey Jar - Open until 2am Lucky Blue's - Open until 2am Brightside Beach Pub - Open until 1am Millers - Open until 2am (fun fact, this is where Dave Matthews used to perform, and there is live music every day!) Rapture Restaurant/nightclub - Open until 2am (many of these are walkable from the Omni!)
Take this opportunity for a night out and call the babysitter, we will not have accommodations for children at the wedding.
