We invite you all to kick off the wedding weekend celebrations with a welcome party in one of our favorite neighborhoods of Charlottesville! Feel free to grab dinner at one of the nearby restaurants before - there are so many good options to choose from. We have our favorites listed on the "Things To Do" page. We are excited to celebrate with you and thank you for traveling from near and far!

Shuttles will depart each of the room block hotels promptly at 4:15 PM for the ceremony. They will be running return trips periodically throughout the evening!

Dress: Colorful Black Tie Invited
For our wedding ceremony and reception, we invite you to join us for an elegant and colorful black-tie occasion. Surrounded by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the heart of springtime, this is an occasion to embrace your most formal attire while paying tribute to the blooming florals surrounding the estate. Women are invited to wear long evening gowns, paired with festive and chic accessories. Feel free to lean into the colorful and playful here! We kindly ask that Men dress in classic tuxedo, complete with black tie. Our ceremony will take place outdoors on the front lawn of the estate, so please take this into consideration when deciding on dress. We look forward to indulging in a little grandeur and celebrating with all of you in your most glamorous attire!

We're not ready to call it a night - let's keep the party going on the front lawn of The Clifton! Join us for an after party around the fire to end the evening. Don't worry, there will be a late night shuttle running until 1 AM to take you back to your hotel as needed!
