We appreciate the sacrifices you made to be here, whether it was taking time off work, arranging for childcare, or managing other commitments. We look forward to celebrating with our family and closest friends and creating cherished memories together. Telluride offers numerous vacation homes that are available to rent. Because there are so many rentals available, and Telluride has few full-service hotels, visitors often choose to rent rather than stay in a hotel. We highly recommend booking properties on or very close to Mountain Village Plaza so that you can easily access the gondola.

If you are looking for a full service and luxurious option, we recommend staying at the Madeline. The Madeline has a beautiful raised pool deck and fitness area, as well as two great restaurant options. The Madeline also sits in the core of Mountain Village Plaza, which has multiple shopping, coffee, restaurant and bar options.

Flight

Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ)

If you are flying in for the wedding, we recommend flying into Montrose and taking a shuttle to Telluride from there. Most visitors use Montrose; it’s the main gateway to Telluride by air. There are frequent direct flights on jets (vs small propeller planes) from major city airports, and Southwest offers direct flights from Denver year round. Montrose is about 65 miles from Telluride, but the drive is beautiful and will give you a chance to orient yourselves to the area. Transportation To and From Airports Telluride offers many private transportation companies to bring you to and from the area airports. We strongly recommend booking these transfers in advance if possible through TelluRides, Mountain Limo, or Black Bear Luxury.

Telluride Regional Airport (TEX)

Although Telluride is the closest airport to the wedding, it is very small, is prone to weather-related cancellations and closings and generally has the most expensive flights in the area.
