Shem Creek
Shem Creek is Mount Pleasant's popular waterfront dining and drinking district. It has a park and boardwalk offering panoramic views of the marsh and Charleston. There are many restaurants lining Shem Creek as well as kayak and paddleboard rentals. We can almost 100% guarantee you will see dolphins swimming through the creek. Shem Creek is one of our favorite places in Charleston! Food recommendations on Shem Creek: Saltwater Cowboys (Get the trashcan nachos and be sure to check out the top viewing deck) Tavern and Table also has good food and a great view. Drinks: Red's Icehouse or Muddy's at Vickery's
Lewis BBQ
One of our favorite restaurants! If you go for dinner, get the sliced brisket, sausage, mac 'n' cheese, and corn pudding. They also have a permanent food truck, Juan Luis, that has AMAZING breakfast tacos.
Revelry Brewery
One of our favorite breweries! Located in downtown Charleston, Revelry has a rooftop bar and great local beer. Michael suggests: Never Sunny or Poke the Bear Christina suggests: Hotel Rendezvous
Arthur Ravenel Bridge
There is a pedestrian path on the bridge that has great views of downtown Charleston and the Charleston Harbor. Park and walk from Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park.

Awesome playground for the kids and a nice pier to walk out on under the bridge.
Angel Oak Tree
Beautiful live oak tree that is estimated to be 400-500 years old!
Sullivan's Island
Sullivan's Island is one of our favorite local beaches with many great restaurants! Hang out on the beach and then head to eat burgers at Poe's Tavern or BBQ at Home Team.
The Battery
Go for a walk to admire the beautiful waterfront homes along the Charleston Harbor and stop at White Point Gardens to admire beautiful live oak trees and wartime monuments.
