The trail goes through villages and also through a beautiful forest. It includes a challenging of descent and ascent rocky section. 15 Minutes from the Villa A beautiful excursion on the Amalfi Coast, starting from Nerano. The route begins near the paid parking lot and the ticket can be purchased at the "Tabacchino". From here it proceeds off the main roads and hustle and bustle of busy cities. This itinerary has many ups and downs and is rocky but is extremely rewarding for the breathtaking views and an ancient medieval watchtower, La Torre di Montalto from the 16th century. This tower can be visited. The first section of the trail passes by the house where Norman Douglas wrote "Siren Land" and passes through wildflowers and olive groves with splendid views of the Amalfi Coast. On the way back the path forks to the left from the main path which crosses the olive grove to the caretaker's house.
