Easy peasy. Text Christina at 802-793-7443 if you have questions or need to provide us with an update on your RSVP.
After more than a decade of crossing paths and cultivating friends in similar circles, we actually "met" online thanks to a dating profile Christina made in Maine with Jenny's encouragement. Jenny is Christina's friend since birth (FSB) and her sister from another mother. Jay and Christina both recognized each other, and their curiosity was piqued!
Awkward and not great. Jay agreed to come to Worcester the next night for a do-over so long as he could cook dinner. He made a duck breast salad, one of the most delicious things ever eaten, and we learned that our chemistry was more than adequate.
Jay joined Christina in her home (now their home!) in Worcester, Vermont in January for a trial run and he never left. Blissed-out cohabitation!
Martin Manor is in the Tudor Revival architectural style and is listed on the historic registry. It includes three event rooms, a library, a hospitality room, manicured grounds, a boxwood labyrinth, fountains, stone walls, and a grape arbor.
No dress code! Dress for comfort and the weather. Outfit changes are encouraged! We are wearing wedding clothes, but it's Vermont, so you'll see people in jeans and dress shirts, as well as others in suits. Do you! It will be peak foliage here in Vermont, with an average high of mid-50s, but it could reach the high 60s if the sun is shining and the wind is calm. The average low is 39 degrees. Think layers. We will not intentionally leave you standing in the rain (we have a rain plan), but there is a short walk from the parking lot to the venue and from the venue to the on-site dorms. Packing a light rain jacket or umbrella will be smart of you.
Talk about weird.
