What airport should I fly into?

Richmond International, RIC, is 15 minutes from our venue and hotel

What hotel should we stay at?

Answer

We have secured a limited block of rooms at the Omni Richmond Hotel that is walking distance to our venue. In addition, Hilton Richmond Downtown, Richmond Marriott Downtown, The Graduate, Quirk Hotel, and Delta Hotel are all hotels that we’ve stayed at and like but will require a 5-10 minute Uber or Lyft. What’s the best way to get from RIC to the hotel?

Answer

Uber and Lyft are your best bet! It’s a quick 15 minute ride. There’s also a possibility that the hotel will be offering shuttle service to/from the airport. Check back here as it gets closer!

Are our children invited?

Answer

While we love all of your kids like they are our own, we are very excited to have an adults only celebration (other than our wedding party, of course) where you can relax and cut loose with us. We’ll celebrate with the littles soon!

Are there other wedding festivities happening over the weekend?

Answer

Yes. After we finish up with rehearsal, would love to see anyone that arrives on Friday! Also, if you can take advantage of the long weekend, we would like to plan a day trip to Colonial Williamsburg on Sunday and hit Busch Gardens for Howl-O-Scream that evening. Depending on interest from you and everyones flights, we could also plan something on Monday. One of Christina’s favorite wineries ( https://uppershirley.com/ ) is about 20 minutes outside of the city; we could potentially arrange to go out for lunch. We recognize that the majority of you are traveling to us and we want to make sure you get the most out of your trip. Feel free to join in as much or as little as you can and let us know what you’re interested in so we can put together a plan!

How do I get from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

We purposely chose the Omni because it is only a few blocks from our venue. We are currently working with the hotel to possibly secure transportation for those who may not be able to make the walk. More details to come!

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Our wedding and reception will take place on the second floor with cocktail hour being on the first floor. There is a large marble staircase as well as elevator access inside of the train station. Outside you will find a large stone staircase leading to the front doors and a wheelchair ramp on the side.

Where can I park?

Answer

We will be providing parking for the ceremony and reception. Please park in any of Main Street Stations 3 parking lots. Parking passes will be available on the welcome table as you ascend the stairs to the Head House.

How should we dress?

Answer

We can’t wait to dance the night away with our favorite people. Dress to impress in your best cocktail or semi-formal attire!

Will there be an after party?

Answer

We are not formally planning anything. The train station officially says goodbye to us at 11 pm (last call 10:30) however there are numerous bars within walking distance in any direction.
