It’s southern tradition to marry on the half-hour, when the clock hands will be continually moving upwards on the clock, symbolizing the marriage will continue to go uphill. We will see you at 4:30!

Colonial Williamsburg Day Trip

We’re so honored that you’re making the trip to celebrate with us and we would love to be able to spend as much time with you as possible. Since it’s a long weekend, we hoped to take advantage of the extra day off on Monday and plan a day together on Sunday. Depending on interest from you, we would rent a Sprinter van and make the hour drive to visit Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens for Howl-O-Scream. The majority of the grounds at Colonial Williamsburg are accessible for free or, for $46.99 (teachers are offered 25% off) you can purchase tickets that grant access inside all of the buildings, admission to shows and the gardens that aren’t accessible for free, and the art museum collections.
