Jackson Hole Airport is the closest airport located approximately 20 minutes (10 miles) from downtown Jackson and offers the most convenience. It is good to note rental cars will be more expensive from this airport.
Salt Lake City International airport is approximately 4 hours (280 miles) south of Jackson but offers more flexibility for flights and rental vehicles as well as a scenic drive through the rockies into Jackson. There are many campervan and RV rental options that can be organized around Salt Lake City if you plan to do things a little differently.
Idaho Falls Regional Airport is another close option to travel to Jackson Hole. It is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes (90 miles) west of Jackson. There are not many direct flights into this airport but another option to consider.
