Things To Do

We're so excited to share some of our favorite places in the city with you!

Central Park

New York, NY
, (212) 310-6600

Central Park is one of the most beautiful parts of NYC! We recommend renting bikes (if you're into that kind of thing!) or just walking through the park and exploring. Tavern on the Green is a great lunch or brunch spot near Sheeps Meadow in Central Park. After getting your steps in, consider stopping off for happy hour drinks and snacks at the Mermaid Inn (HH usually starts at 4 or 5 - check the website) or grabbing cookies from Levain Bakery.

The Upper East Side and Museums

1000 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10028

The Upper East Side has some of the best museums in the world including the Natural History Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art (the "Met"). We recommend the Natural History Museum if you're with children and the Met if you're adults only. After exploring, we like to grab a burger at the NYC classic JG Melon (Christina's favorite! Shout-out to Burger Club).

Times Square

New York, NY 10036

All New Yorkers will tell you that they despise Times Square, but if you're new to the City we recommend seeing it at least once! Come prepared for major crowds, and don't feel obligated to talk to one of the MANY characters in the area. Once you've gotten your fix of Times Square, head downtown for some delicious food! (See West Village, Soho & Tribeca)

Grand Central Terminal and Rockefeller Center

89 East 42nd Street, New York, NY 10017

Grand Central is by far the most beautiful train station in the City and is a popular tourist destination - we would recommend going outside of commuting hours to avoid major crowds. Bonus: grab a drink from Campbell Apartment, a great bar inside Grand Central. While in the area, we recommend stopping for a bagel at Ess-a-Bagel, one of our favorite bagel spots in the city! From Grand Central it's an easy walk over to Rockefeller Center where you can enjoy 5th Ave. shopping and some historic theater landmarks.

West Village and SoHo

New York, NY

If you're looking for the best restaurants/shopping in NYC and quintessential tree lined streets, SoHo and the West Village are where you want to be. We love grabbing pizza at John's of Bleecker before heading over to Comedy Cellar for some stand up. To name all of our favorite bars and restaurants in the area would be tough there are just SO many, but here are a few: Dante, Via Carota, I Sodi, Carbone, Sant Ambroeus... you get the vibe.

Tribeca

New York, NY

Our beloved neighborhood and our absolute favorite part of the City. We love walking Perry along the West Side Highway to take in the beautiful city scape, watch some beach volleyball or enjoy some oysters and cocktails at Grand Banks. Tribeca is also home to some of the best restaurants in the City. Some of our favorites include L'Angolo, Max Restaurant (Cole says they have the best pasta in the City!), Gran Morsi, Yves, Locanda Verde, The Odeon, Greca...can you tell we're foodies? Also worth mentioning, grabbing coffee at Laughing Man (Hugh Jackman's coffee place) and a pastry from Duane Street Patisserie are a must! We hope you can find the time to explore our home!
