Wedding Party

Reena Bains

Best Woman

Christina and Reena bonded over a Costco Sized bag of French Onion Sun Chips and binge watching TV (before binge watching was a thing, they were ahead of their time!), in the common room of their SFU dorm in 2002. They were roommates for 10 years, and when Reena once claimed she was the third wheel when hanging out with Chris and Christina, she was told, "you're not a third wheel, you're a bicycle frame."

Tania Tod

Bridesmaid

Christina and Tania became BFFs somewhere between graduating from SFU and going to a Backstreet Boys concert in 2010. Perhaps the only friend that can keep up with the volume of coffee she consumes, Tania is also the reason Christina knows how to properly load a dishwasher, understands how to use her computer and has a house full of correctly built IKEA furniture.

Jessica Tang

Bridesmaid

Christina and Jessica became friends over mini jugs of beer at the Foggy Dew during university and they stayed friends by becoming Happy Hour buddies at the Marquis. Jess was once Christina's workout partner, it all ended when mid-side plank Christina said, "I hate this so much I will punch you in the face." while they're still friends, they never worked out together again. Also, there is a 100% chance that a mimosa glass was cropped out of this picture.

Kathryn Morrison

Bridesmaid

Christina and Kathryn met in high school and bonded over the fact that they liked to finish their homework on time and bake cookies on the weekends while listening to Dave Matthews Band/watching Dawson's Creek (in case there was any doubt that they came of age in the late 90s). Flash forward to 18 years later, one of them became a doctor and the other starts sentences like, "which doctor on Grey's Anatomy are you?" (we'll let you guess whose who).

Bethany Dueck

Bridesmaid

Friends since 1992, Christina and Beth met at Mountain Elementary School. Hard to believe then Christina was painfully shy and Beth, ever the extrovert, took her under her wing and became her best friend. These days, it's hard to keep up with this fast talking duo, they mostly speak in inside jokes and quotes from Clueless (a film they can both recite from beginning to end).

Kelsey O'Neill

Junior Bridesmaid

Christina met Kelsey when she was baby and had her heart the day that she offered to share a half eaten french fry. These days Kelsey is the reason Christina knows if Arianna Grande releases new music and translates all the acronyms the kids today are using. ILY Kels!

Dustin Davis

Best Man

Dustin was the first person that Chris ever met in the car industry, on his first day at Richmond Subaru in 2006. Dustin immediately sat Chris down and said, "What do you know about the Sales process?", in that moment Chris found this career and met a lifelong friend. These two quickly bonded over beers, cars and hockey, and if you ever hear Chris up late at night giggling on the the phone, he's definitely talking to Dustin (who on the receiving end, is chuckling like Seth Rogan).

Greg Logan

Best Man

The man with dimples of AC Slater, Chris met Greg when he thought he was his younger brother Mike, and chased him with a hockey stick in their neighbourhood (rumor has it Greg was in a Cubs uniform at the time). This case of mistaken identity led these two to become friends, Chris was the Tim Roth to Greg's Tupac and they spent their days scheming how they would move up in the world. Over 20 years later these guys are still scheming , just don't bring up what happened to Chris' CD collection from 1999, that's one secret Greg will never tell.

Chris Roper

Groomsman

Chris met Roper when they were kids living in the same neighbourhood in Langley Meadows. if you've heard a story about an unfortunate car break down/tow, a dine and dash gone wrong or about a man who looks stunning in a baby blue velour track suit, it was about Roper. On top of being a Red Seal chef and cooking up amazing food at his restaurant The Fat Cow and Oyster Bar, he is also a gifted illustrator, as seen in his latest work here.

Arnel Sattar

Groomsman

Chris met Arnel in 1997, where they bonded over the fact that they were bench warmers on the basketball team. They used this time to become The Divas (along with their friend Peter, who also played basketball, but spent much less time on the bench). Flash forward to 21 years later, these guys are still as close as ever (some might say a little Too Close?), because if Chris ever talks about the first Filipino he ever loved, he's not talking about Christina.

Craig Carey

Groomsman

Chris and Craig met when they were kids playing in the same local soccer team and they became good friends a couple years later. These guys bonded over their love of hockey (cards) and soccer (even though Craig is a Tottenham fan) and in more recent years comparing Game of Thrones fan theories. Chris recently did the math and calculated that he owes Craig 20 years of designated driving services...but instead, he'll probably just buy Craig some shots (that is, if he has finally recovered from his PTSD of doing too many of these in his early 20s) and call him a taxi.

Mike Bains

Groomsman

Chris met Mike 8 years ago when Mike first started dating his good friend Reena. Skeptical of her new man, Chris kept his guard up, until one fateful day, when they all went for a walk passed "Dix's Barbecue", Mike made a joke, Chris laughed and they've been friends ever since. A few months into their friendship, Mike taught Chris how to make an Old Fashioned, they sipped their cocktails in fine glassware and talked about philosophy, politics and culture. Eager to show his new friend how much he enjoyed the drinks, Chris mixed the cocktails the next time they hung out and they ended up drinking an entire bottle of bourbon and were found wandering on the Granville strip in search of pizza dogs and crepes (which is how Chris initiates all his friend's into his inner-circle).

Mike Tod

Groomsman

Like a moth to a flame, Chris gravitated to Mike the moment he met him and said "I work in the beer industry". His whole life he had been waiting to meet someone like Mike. Beyond the brews, these two bonded over a mutual passion for hockey (even though Mike is die hard Oilers fan), sharing their favourite drinking glory stories and laughing at Chris' short lived career in recreational hockey (Mike is still an avid player). While they're both parents now, they still let loose once in a while and when they do, you can bet that the night ends with comically large portions of poutine from Fritz.

Elaina O'Neill

Flower Girl

Ever wonder what a human would be like if they were half Chris and half Christina? Well wonder no more, this little ray of sunshine is a chatterbox, natural negotiator, creative, charming and loves to make people laugh. Currently she has decided that she is in charge of the first dance song and has suggested "All I Want for Christmas is You" or "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid. Chris and Christina think both are great options.

Alex Cruz

Reception Emcee

The man with the hair and humor of Jo Koy (YouTube him if you do not know who this is and thank us later), everyone's favourite drinking buddy has been tasked with running the show for the night. That is until 9 PM, when all bets are off and he'll probably be found on the dance floor, with a drink in each hand, ready to turn up the party.
