We first met at the beginning of Summer Projects in Newry, Maine last year. We were apart of the first groups to arrive and clicked immediately. Our first days were spent bonding over basketball finals, pot pie, and Charles Barkley quotes. We spent a lot of time together over the summer and grew to be really good friends. As the summer came to a close, the discussion of whether or not to date came about. Of course, with Aaron being from Indiana and me going to school in South Dakota, it was a scary ordeal. I remember saying that it was "either going to work out really well, or be the biggest jip of my life." But we decided to trust in the Lord and take that risk. It was worth it. After dating long-distance for more than five months and numerous trips back and forth, Aaron proposed on Janurary 17th in my hometown in Florida. We both moved to Grand Junction, CO in May, finally ending the long distance part of our relationship. We often spend our free time exploring new things and attending sporting events. I can't wait for the lifelong adventure the Lord has in store for the two of us.
