Purgatory Resort

Purgatory Resort has an array of places to pick from - we suggest booking early to save the right price for you and your family. There are multiple restaurants on site, spa, activities for adventurous adults and children. Check out the website! Biking, hiking, paddle boarding and even a mountain coaster! We will be shuttling from this location to the venue. There are options on Air BnB as well to rent privately at the resort.

Silverpick Lodge

Silverpick Lodge is also a short drive away. They have hotel rooms and condos for 2-8 guests. There is a restaurant on site (Sow's Ear) and Purgatory Resort a few minutes up the road has lots of activities for adventure and places to dine as well.

Strater Hotel

Downtown Durango is 40 minutes away. The Strater is our favorite historic hotel! If you want to have access to all that Durango has to offer- downtown is a great spot for you! You will want to take a cab or drive the 40 minutes back in the dark down the mountain from our venue- but if you have never been to Durango it is an awesome place to visit!

Durango-La Plata County Airport (DRO)

You can fly into Durango-La Plata County Airport and rent a car to get to the venue it will be about an hour drive. If you choose to fly into Durango, be prepared to be on a small regional plane.

Albuquerque International (ABQ)

Most major airlines fly into ABQ. The drive from ABQ to Durango is about 4.5 hours. It is the closest major airport to our destination wedding. The drive is simple, you pass through the Navajo Reservation and desolate New Mexico locations.

Denver International (DEN)

Denver is 7 hours away from our wedding location. It is a stunning drive and there are many different routes to chose from. This can be a great way to spend the week! Touring Colorado on your way to the wedding.
