Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at the ceremony and reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening. That said, we would love for your kids to experience the Rocky Mountains, and Keystone Resort recommends the following childcare options to utilize during the wedding. Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is formal. For women, this means a midi- or ankle-length attire, and for men, a suit is appropriate.

Question

What's the deal with the gondolas?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will take place at North Peak, which is part of what makes the setting so special — but it does require a scenic ride up! Guests will take two enclosed gondolas to reach the venue. We completely understand that some guests may feel a bit unsure about boarding and exiting the gondolas. They are designed to be very stable and easy to access, and the lift operators are there specifically to help ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone. Operators are trained to carefully monitor each gondola, adjust speeds as needed, and assist guests while loading and unloading. If you’d feel more comfortable taking things slowly, you are absolutely welcome to ask the operator to slow or stop the gondola while getting on or off. You can also signal to them by holding your hand out (palm down) and gently moving it up and down. Enjoy the ride!

Question

Tips for adjusting to the elevation?

Answer

Our venue sits at nearly 12,000 feet, so if you’re visiting from a lower elevation, you may feel the effects of altitude. A little preparation goes a long way — here are a few tips to help you feel your best: - Hydrate early and often: Start increasing your water intake a few days before arriving and continue throughout the weekend. Sports drinks or electrolyte packets (like Liquid I.V. or Nuun) can also help with hydration. - Limit alcohol (especially at first): Rule of thumb -- one drink at altitude equals two drinks at sea level! - Be mindful of symptoms: Mild headaches, fatigue, or shortness of breath can be normal. If you feel unwell, rest, hydrate, and let someone know. We want everyone to feel great and fully enjoy the weekend — taking a few simple precautions can make all the difference!
