Way back when I (Taylor) was in the fourth grade, I went to an end of the year concert at my friend's school, Lopez Elementary. During the show, there was this SUPER CUTE fifth grader running around the stage playing a multitude of different instruments throughout the night. I was IN LOVE!!! After the show, I asked my friend who he was and she said, "Oh, that's Christian Monroe, I have a crush on him!" Well... now I did too! Little did I know, that cute boy running across an elementary school stage was going to be my husband!
As many of you know, Taylor and I dated in middle school and high school. As many people say, "If something is meant to be, you will find each other again in time." When I was in college in West Virginia, I got a call from my mom and sister saying that Taylor was coming over to help with my sister's birthday. This caused me to reach out and long story short me and Taylor began talking again. Taylor then moved to Miami for college. While in cahoots with her friend, I drove down and surprised her by coming. When I knocked on her door, she opened it, and I could tell she was so shocked. We spent the whole weekend together and I eventually asked her to be my girlfriend. After that weekend, I knew that Taylor was the one that I wanted to be with. Little did I know, 5 years later I would be asking Taylor to marry me. I can honestly say that I am so glad I reached back out to her. She is my forever, and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
