Where you will fly into?

Dallas has two great airports to fly into, either Dallas Love Field or DFW. Both airports are within 30 mins of the city. If you are a big southwest flyer, Dallas Love Field is your airport! All other major airlines will fly into DFW. If you're feeling up to it, their is public transport from the airport into the city via the DART -- just make sure you get off at the victory park stop! Otherwise, uber will be your best option!

We’ve reserved a block of rooms at a special rate for our guests at the Warwick Melrose Hotel in Dallas. To book, just call 1-800-203-3232, email res.dallas@warwickhotels.com, or use the link and mention “Thompson-Corneil Wedding Room Block” to receive the discount. If the website says that any of the dates between the 31st-3rd are booked please call and reservations will be able to accommodate you! Please book your room by December 5, 2025 to lock in the rate! Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM. This hotel is within walking distance of some of our favorite cafe's and eats: Eatzis, Village Baking Co and LaLaLand. It is within a half mile of the Katy Trail and super close to Uptown and Downtown. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Hyatt House Dallas/Uptown

We have a special negotiated rate with this hotel. Book in advance to ensure you get a room as we do not have a specific room block, just a discounted rate. This hotel is within walking distance to the Katy Trail, The American Airlines Center, a ton of restaurants and bars, as well as shopping on Victory Ave.

Travel Note

Wedding Day Transportation

We want everyone to celebrate stress-free, so we’ll be providing limo coach buses from the venue in Waxahachie back to Dallas after the reception. That means you can Uber or Lyft to the venue and enjoy a complimentary ride home at the end of the night! If you prefer to drive, the venue is just a quick 30-minute drive south of Dallas with plenty of parking available. Please let us know in advance if you’d like a seat on one of the two buses so we can reserve your spot. For reference, rideshare options (Uber/Lyft) from Dallas to the venue are typically around $30 each way.
