It all started on a Tuesday evening in July 2022 at The Porch—a young adults ministry at the church Christian and Natalie-Tasha both attended. She had just started hanging out with a new group of friends from church and was making her way to their usual spot, only to find no familiar faces. Just as she began scanning for a new seat, Christian ran up and told her the group had switched locations that night. That small moment sparked something. They struck up a conversation, and from the start, there was an ease between them. That was the moment her love story began. For him? Let’s just say it took a little longer. Christian would probably describe her as a fiery Latina who loved him hard—and maybe just a little too much at first. But over time (and a few persistent tries), he fell in love too. In the 2.5 years that followed, they grew from strangers to friends, friends to a couple, and from a couple to true partners. There were bumps in the road—some high highs, some low lows—but their bond only deepened. Even their bickering felt like middle school flirtation, masking the real truth: they couldn’t live without each other. Through it all, they learned what real love takes—grit, grace, forgiveness, and a whole lot of humor. On May 28, 2025, Christian got down on one knee. And Natalie-Tasha said yes. Their journey wouldn’t have been possible without the friends and family who poured into them with wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love. But most importantly, it was guided by God’s hand from the beginning. Despite being raised nearly 3,000 miles apart—Christian in Bangor, Maine and Natalie-Tasha in Westlake Village, California—they both ended up moving to Dallas just three weeks apart, with no idea what God had in store. Navigating a new city, new friendships, and a new spiritual chapter, they grew not just in love with each other but in their faith. And that journey—the one they didn’t plan but chose to embrace—led them to forever.
