Wedding Party

Regan

Maid of Honor

My sister and my oldest friend, the older we get the closer we become and I wouldn't have it any other way! Between our family trip in an RV (and potentially more to come), beach trips with the guys, and dreaming of living in the same area... we are having a blast in this phase of life! I couldn't imagine anyone else helping me navigate wedding planning and standing by my side on my wedding day.

Kasey Dye

Bridesmaid

Kasey is someone who took a lot of convincing to join our group in grad school. I am so grateful my persistence paid off and now I can't imagine surviving grad school or my first years of teaching without her friendship. Now that we are neighbors we spend a lot of time planning wine weekends with Emma Wilks, going for walks with Bella and convincing Christian to watch the Bachelor/Bachelorette with us.

Emma Wilks

Bridesmaid

We started as acquaintances in an IEP and Transition class at William and Mary. We solidified our friendship with Margaritas and long walks to Trader Joe's. Emma is one of my go-to wine adventure buddies and is always up for a wine day or weekend! I was able to see Emma and Kevin's beautiful October wedding a few years ago and I have been blessed with her advice now that I have been planning our October wedding.

Jillian Barrett

Bridesmaid

My AXiD sister and Beyonce soulmate! I was so lucky when we became friends at ECU and I feel grateful we have continued this friendship past college. I felt so honored to stand by Jillian at her wedding and I am so excited to have her at mine! I'm also still crossing my fingers we convince Nick and Christian to take us to see a Beyonce concert...

Emma Howe

Bridesmaid

My "baby" cousin, Emma Lew! I am so proud of the woman she is becoming and I am thrilled to have her by my side on my wedding day. Her sweet soul lights up every room she enters and I knew without a doubt she needed to be a part of our big day. Side note... that family RV trip we took was to visit Emma for family weekend at App State, anything involving Emma always includes fun!

Matt Heimburger

Best Man

Matt and I met in 7th grade math class. We've continued our friendship through high school and the years to follow. Matt had a big impact on my first years in Williamsburg. Even letting me make the first Facebook contact with his freshman year roommate, letting him know I would be visiting often. From living with seven of our closest friends to sticking around in Williamsburg for a year after everyone moved away, Matt has become one of my closet friends and someone I couldn't imagine not being my best man.

Jarrett Talley

Groomsman

I was pretty nervous when Madison's sister started dating someone because I knew we would all be spending a lot of time together. Jarrett has quickly become a close friend of mine through all of our adventures with the Bourn sisters. I am excited to see what the future holds for this next phase of both our lives, including the potential to become neighbors one day.

Chris Walsh

Groomsman

Chris and I met while he was studying at William and Mary, his dorm room was where we all would hang out on the weekends. I am grateful our friendship has continued and that I now share this friend with Madison. Chris has become a close friend of both Madison and I this year, enjoying wine and beach trips. We are very excited to have Chris be a part of our wedding day!

David Collins

Groomsman

David and I competed on the same high school swim team... I was always the faster one. He has become someone I know I can always count on. I have enjoyed being a part of his big life events and celebrations, watching him grow and I am excited to have him stand by my side on my wedding day.

Matt Johnson

Groomsman

Matt is someone I can always count on to be himself and make everyone laugh. We have been friends since elementary school and have continued our friendship throughout the years. He is always up for a new adventure or a celebration, I am grateful he will be there to celebrate Madison and I on our wedding day.

Doug Popik

Officiant

The whole Popik family has been a big part of my life ever since they moved next door. When Christian and I first got engaged we started to think of what our ceremony would be like, who would be standing next to us, and who would marry us... and without hesitation the first person we thought of was Doug. I have had the privilege to see Mags and Doug throughout the years; raising their three beautiful children, open their home to family and friends, attend church and handle obstacles with trust and love for each other. This was a pretty big ask because this will be Doug's first time officiating a wedding but we are thrilled he has agreed!
