We met originally in high school (goooo Eagles!). However, we weren't really friends. Christian was the cool upperclassmen while Ellis was still going through her angsty goth phase. Ok, so if you guys weren't friends, how the heck are y'all now getting married? Life happens in mysterious ways. When Ellis was a senior in high school, she had the opportunity to attend two proms. At the first prom, Christian was working as a security guard for the college where the dance was held. How did Christian land this gig? Well, he was in the police academy. Makes sense, right? That night Christian messaged Ellis on Facebook to tell her how beautiful she looked. His future wife politely said thank you and nothing more, even though she thought he looked super fine in that uniform. Prom #2: Christian shows up as a fellow senior's date. Christian spots Ellis. He messages her telling her how even more stunning she looked. She politely says thank you and nothing more. To be honest, she had no idea he had attended. Ellis' high school graduation comes along. She's partying it up with her family when the cute security guard and long-lost high school acquaintance messages her on Facebook. "Congratulations!", he says. His future wife politely says thank you and then much...much more. The day after graduation Christian & Ellis go on their first date. She almost hits him in the parking lot. They were inseparable after that.
