Yellow Route:
From the San Ysidro border crossing to La Cima del Valle in Villa de Juárez, the drive takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. This route follows a toll road with less traffic and includes three toll booths totaling about 140 pesos (around $8 USD), so please bring cash. Along the way, you will pass through Rosarito and Misión Viejo, both offering excellent dining options. All toll booths along this route have restroom facilities available.
Blue Route:
From the Otay Mesa border crossing to La Cima del Valle, the drive takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Portions of this route is a toll road, with is less traffic. There is one toll booth costing about 160 pesos (around $10 USD), so please bring cash. This route travels through Tecate and into Valle de Guadalupe along the famous Ruta del Vino, where guests can stop at wineries and enjoy outstanding restaurants. All toll booths along this route also have restroom facilities available.
