How do I book my room?
Answer
We have a reserved room block at Inn of the Mountain Gods. Please call 575-464-7777 to reserve your room ASAP. Request a room under the Pereira-Rivera Wedding. *DO NOT book via the website please.
Question
What is the Pereira-Rivera Bus system and who is it for?
Answer
We have secured charter buses to take our guests from El Paso to Ruidoso for the wedding weekend; departing Thursday and returning Sunday. There will also be provided transportation for Friday and Saturday events. The Bride and Groom would love ALL their guests to ride the bus system, both out of towners and locals. Please be sure to RSVP if you plan to do so.

When should I fly into El Paso if I'm riding the bus?
Answer
The buses will leave at 2pm on Thursday 9/7/23 - if you cannot get an early flight Thursday morning you can fly in Wednesday evening.
Question
When should I fly out of El Paso if I am taking the bus?
Answer
There will be 2-3 options for bus departures on Sunday 9/10/23. This will give you options on when to fly out. We would recommend you don't get a flight home earlier than 11am to be safe.
Question
What happens if I miss my flight on Thursday or it is delayed?
Answer
There will be many options to get you to Ruidoso. Rental companies and many local EP family will be making the short 2.5 hour drive, so we will get you there no problem. If there is a slight delay, we will work to accommodate and hold the buses if able to. Safest option would be to try and arrive into El Paso by 12 noon on Thursday and Depart after 11am Sunday.

Can I stay somewhere else?
Answer
Our guests are welcome to say anywhere they like, however with the majority of events and transportation out of the Inn of the Mountain Gods, we are hoping everyone will join us and stay under our room block.

Is there a specific dress attire for the wedding weekend events?
Answer
Thursday Night Welcome Cocktail Hour: Casual attire; will be outdoors by the lake. Friday Evening Food Truck Dinner: Casual attire; will be outdoors in the mountains Saturday Ceremony and Reception: Semi-formal, black-tie optional; will be indoors

What is the weather like this time of year?
Answer
During the days when the sun is out, it feels amazing (mid 70's to mid 80's). In the early morning and in the evenings, it can get a little nippy (mid 40's to mid 50's). *Thursday evening by the lake you may need a light coverup/jacket. *Friday evening in the mountains you will likely want something light or a bit warmer. *Saturday festivities will mostly be indoors, but you may bring a light coverup/jacket for comfort. When in doubt, check the weather online - they're always right :)
