Meet & Greet with the Bridal Party!

Christian Johnson

Groom

Callie Brunswig

Bride

Nick Lenover

Best Man

Nick and I have known each other since grade school but did not become close until our senior year of high school. From skipping class to make toaster strudels to getting into a little trouble at times, we always find some time to squeeze in a round of golf and quickly realize neither of us know why we even try to play this game. Callie and I are now very proud god parents to his daughter Alaina or Baby Ace as I have dubbed her. Life has changed quite a bit since we were kids but we still always have each other’s backs.

Mallorie Brunswig

Maid of Honor

Mallorie is the middle sister of the family. After 7 years of being an only child, Mallorie came into the world. She is an amazing sister, despite the amount of fighting we did when we grew up. She's one of the toughest (not just because it was similar to WWE when living with her,) ditziest, selfless, and caring person I know. She is one of the best advice givers and always ready for an adventure. We would spend countless hours making our whole basement into a fort and even though she would always follow me around and annoy me, Im so grateful to be her big sister. I am so thankful and blessed for Mal to stand next to me on our big day. A little nervous for the speech though.

Jacob Beams

Groomsman

JB and I worked together for a couple years at Orangethoery, and to be honest if it wasn’t for us working with each other everyday at 4am, I don’t think either of us would have lasted as long as we did. I eventually convinced him to join our softball team (which is really just a reason for us to hang out with the guys once a week) and he turned out to be pretty alright. Although we don’t work together anymore, we still find time to go on angry rants about Cardinal baseball together and laugh when we are done because let’s be honest neither of us is a Major League GM.

Jessica Lenover

Matron of Honor

Jessica and I met a few years back and we didn't say one word to each other, because we both assumed we wouldn't like each other. Fast forward to now, we are best friends, talk every minute of the day, spend most of our weekends together, go on random shopping trips, go to Target drunk to get snacks, and are always going on new adventures. Most of the good stories cannot be posted on here unfortunately, but Jessica is one of the best friends I have ever had, she is like family now, which means we make fun of each other all the time (just ask her how many seasons there are.) Jessica is one of the most selfless, kind hearted, ditziest, craziest, always there for you friend. I am the luckiest person to have her standing next to me on our big day.

Skyler Johnson

Groomsman

Skyler is my little brother. Separated by 7 years but he always managed to figure out a way to tag along with me and my friends no matter what we were doing. Everyone always loved having him around and included him in everything. Probably a bad idea most of the time but hey we turned out alright. Despite the annoyance and interjecting himself into my plans my whole life he’s the best brother I could have asked for.

Amber Brunswig

Bridesmaid

Amber and I met when she accidentally came into the world when Callie was 10. The age difference may be far apart, but Amber and I have always been close. She has been called "little Callie" for most of her life. She's the sister that will stay up all night playing pigeon games on the IPhone, always down to play Mario Party even when I have beaten her since she was 5, send random facts, have a wild Youtube search history, and always be down to binge watch Netflix with her big sister. I am so excited, thankful, and lucky to have you apart of my big day.

Will Tannahill

Groomsman

Will and I met about ten years ago and since then no matter how much time goes by it’s like we haven’t missed a beat. We have had some of the best Halloween parties together and Will always brings the laughter. Most of the time you can find us talking about sports together or having a couple beers just relaxing. We have definitely settled down a bit in the last few years but he will always be the life of the party!

Brea Simkins

Bridesmaid

Brea and I met in 3rd grade when our schools consolidated together. However, we did not like each other until senior year of high school. Through the memories of going to Daytona together after high school (and accidentally throwing your Winnie the Pooh towel over our balcony onto the hotel roof,) spring breaks, and fun adventures in good old Monmouth, our friendship has become a sisterhood. Her ditziness brightens up the room but how amazing of a friend she is will always be my favorite.

Mitch Flowers

Groomsman

Mitch and I have known each other since middle school. Mitch’s dad was my P.E. Teacher at the time but we both ended up moving out of little old Virginia. After we had both graduated high school and were in college we reconnected at EIU over a very long homecoming weekend and we have been great friends ever since. We worked together for a couple years and eventually moved in together which was against company policy but who really follows those rules. We probably had a few too many good times together and we probably still play too much softball, even though every year we say we are done. Mitch and his family will always be some of my favorite people and I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for me.

Kelly Bucci

Bridesmaid

Kelly and I met a few years ago. Most of my stories with Kelly are drunken shenanigans, but as we have gotten older they have turned into random trips to TJ Max, lunch dates, game nights, and summer pool days at Knights. She's the kind of friend that will make sure you are having a good time and is always there for you no matter what time. I got her addicted to crafting with our Cricuts, which came in handy having another person able to help make all my wonderful wedding ideas come to life. I am so thankful to have Kelly apart of our big day.

Kyle Robinson

Groomsman

Kyle and I met at the infamous Dick’s Sporting Goods and bonded over sports and growing up not to far from each other, even if he did go to Routt. These days we argue over sports and mutual love/hate relationship of the Cardinals keeps our friendship on its toes. We always make sure to never let the other get too full of themselves on the softball field with a few subtle jabs scattered throughout a couple compliments. Kyle is always down for whatever, whenever and always has an ear to lend if I need to vent. Much appreciated my guy!

Jennifer Stock

Bridesmaid

Jennifer and Callie met my freshman year at MacMurray. We were in the same sorority and eventually had our own apartment. Many of the memories we share are not appropriate to discuss, but from spring break to getting ratty hair with (windows down with the music up cruising back roads and getting all in your feelings,) she's the best for both. Jen and I share a love for chicken nugs, chocolate milk, wine in a bag, and fruit snacks. One time Jen and I were going to throw a party had a little too much to drink and forgot to invite anybody, but we still had a blast. She has been one of the best supporters of all of Christian and I's relationship from the very beginning. She's crazy, wild, spontaneous, and an amazing friend. I am so thankful for her.

Dace Van Brooker

Groomsman

Dace and I grew up across the street from each other. By the time we were 6/7 we had a neighborhood bike gang we rolled around with everyday, playing waffle ball, kickball, going to the pool everyday. We played a lot of baseball together as youngsters. We eventually went our separate ways to college but that didn’t stop us from having some very long weekends at Western in his and Nicks apartment. Dace is one of my oldest friends and is always down for a good time no matter how random it may be.

Megan Gillis

Bridesmaid

Megan and Callie actually met at MacMurray College, although we never talked in college. Then we started working together at Memorial Behavioral Health. From the sleepovers to impromptu bachelorette parties for friends Megan is always down to have fun. She's the kind of friend that will fill your cup up with her drink and she will go and buy another on your birthday. She's crazy, fun, a great friend, and I am so excited to have her apart of this day.

Brian Ramsey

Groomsman

Brian and I went to school together at PORTA but didn’t become friends until a couple years down the road when we both happen to be at the same bar at the same time. After a few minutes of awkward staring and trying to figure out how we knew one another it finally clicked and the rest is history. We spent the next couple years bar hopping and outside of work spending about everyday together. Over the last few years things have changed a lot, both of us settling down into adult lives and Brian becoming a father but I know if I ever need anything he would be one of the first to drop everything and help me out.

Kelsey Wyman

Bridesmaid

Kelsey and I are basically cousins. Growing up she was the closest cousin to my age so we formed an immediate bond. We then got to experience the questioning of Santa together, after a few years of always getting the same exact things for Christmas and the same wrapping paper (no coincidence that our mothers go Black Friday shopping together.) Now we join our mother's on Black Friday to go shopping. Kelsey helped take over the big sister role when I moved away for school and I will be forever grateful for that, and we are more than excited to have her apart of our day.

Alaina Lenover

Flower Girl

Alaina is an absolute fire cracker. Be prepared, her walk down the aisle will be filled with happy screams and "oh no's." We have been lucky enough to watch you grow into a smart, cute, and sweet little girl. Between her sass and her love for dancing it's hard to say which will steal the night away. She will be the one out on the dance floor the whole night busting her moves out and possibly even some baby twerking. We are so lucky to be her God parents.

Aria Bucci

Flower Girl

Aria is probably one of the coolest babies we know, like cooler than her parents. She is always up to something new and her facial expressions are the absolute best. She definitely knows me as the girl who used to do crazy dance workouts while she was in the swing with her mom. Aria's cheesy grin can light up a room and when she has her sunglasses on and little boots, watch out world. We are lucky to have Aria as one of our flower girls.
