Its finally happening!

We met in February 2015 while working together at Dick's Sporting Goods. Christian eventually got the courage to message Callie on Facebook. A couple weeks later he came over to her dorm room in the middle of a blizzard. Shortly after that Christian asked Callie on their first official date. We went to TGI Friday's for dinner and then got some adult beverages, went and watched movies/played games. We spent the next FIVE years living in the moment, making memories, and planning our future. Until Christian finally decided to propose.

On February 22nd, 2020, Christian planned a cute date night with some of our best friends at Hand of Fate Brewing in Petersburg, and on the way one of our friends, Jessica a Matron of Honor, called and said she ran out of gas... which is 10000% believable if you know her. We pulled over at New Salem and Christian finally got Callie to come out of the car, by telling her there was a turtle by the creek. He had one of the bridges decked out in lights, flowers, and Forever To Go by Chase Rice playing in the background. Christian had a whole speech prepared, but managed to get out, "You know I love you right? Do you love me?" Then asked Callie to marry him, and almost dropped the ring in the stream in the process. Then in the distance Christian had planned for her mother and both grandmothers to be there to see it. After roughly 5 years of Callie sending him ring pictures and dropping not so subtle hints, we got engaged,
