We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Most of you know by now that we don't have much of a "meet-cute," love story beginning. We met in high school, took several smarty-pants classes together, became great friends along the way, and eventually started dating the summer before our senior year. What you might not know is that we wouldn’t have had a beginning at all if not for Christian joining a study abroad program in France. You know what they say: there's nothing like professing your feelings for someone the night before they leave for a month-long trip to Asia, followed by a semester abroad! Of course, we survived the long-distance, and we've been inseparable ever since. After graduating high school, we went to college together (hook 'em!), traveled to new places, and made some incredible friends along the way. Fast forward to April 27th, 2019. After almost 6 months of planning, an extremely elaborate ruse was underway. The plan: Alexa and Christian attend the AICP party for Christian’s work (look it up, it’s real!). The location: a suite at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin (AKA Christian’s favorite place). In hindsight, no one understands how Alexa didn’t catch on. What began with a harmless observation tower tour ended in a rom-com level surprise proposal, followed by a double surprise engagement party. It was the best night of our lives. We’ve since moved into a fixer upper home together, undertaken and completed massive renovations, and continue planning a kickass wedding all while surviving a global pandemic. After nearly 8 happy years together, we can’t wait to officially tie the knot and celebrate with all of you!
