We are getting married on a family friend's property! The address is 5221 Washington Avenue in St. Joseph MI, but please note that there will be no parking available at the house. Please see transportation details below.
Shuttles will pick up guests in 2 locations: The Chapel Church, located at 4250 Washington Ave, St Joseph, MI 49085 (we recommend this pickup location for our local friends/family), and at the Comfort Suites St. Joseph/Stevensville, located at 2633 W Marquette Woods Rd, Stevensville, MI 49127. If you need special accommodations for transportation/parking, please contact Alex.
Our ceremony will begin at 4:00pm, with cocktail hour and family/couple pictures immediately after. Speeches, dinner, dancing, and shenanigans will begin around 5:30 and will conclude between 11 and 11:30 (ish).
We want our guests to look and feel their best, while also being comfortable! We're asking for cocktail attire. As our ceremony and reception will be outside, in August, check the weather in advance to make sure you're wearing something that will keep you cool and plan on shoes that you can walk on grass in! And ladies, please NO white/off-white. If you have questions on what to wear, Alex is more than happy to chat outfits with you :)
Once we send out invitations, you will see an "RSVP" tab at the top of our website that will allow you to RSVP to every event included in your invitation. We are not sending paper RSVP's, and to avoid our guests getting lost in the shuffle, we will not accept text or call RSVP's. Please let us know if you have any difficulties with the online process, we will be happy to help!
We would love to have the party of the century with unlimited guests! However, as we already have a large guest list and are limited by the size of the tent for the reception, please plan on attending with only the people named on your invitation. If we included your child(ren) and you want our wedding to be a child-free date night, we completely understand!
Would you expect anything less?? Please note that our bartenders are close friends of ours and will be working for tips. Please treat them well; we will have tip jars set up for cash tips, as well as a Venmo QR code for tips if you don't want to carry cash.
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the cocktail hour/reception, we would love for you to upload your pictures into our shared Google Photos folder (a QR code for the folder will be available at your table), or tag us on social media so we can see them too!
We did not reserve hotel blocks for guests. You can find all of our hotel/travel recommendations under the "Travel" tab up top, and you'll find that most hotels in the area are very affordable!
