FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress Code: Formal Romance in Nudes We’re creating a timeless and romantic atmosphere for our special day, and we’d love for our guests to help set the tone. Our dress code is formal attire in soft, neutral tones — think champagne, beige, blush, cream, ivory, or taupe. These hues will bring the dreamy, elegant vibe we envision to life. Gentlemen, suits or tuxedos are perfect; ladies, long gowns or chic cocktail dresses in nude or muted shades are encouraged. Please avoid bold or bright colors to keep the look cohesive and romantic. Question

Is the wedding in Houston?

Answer

Technically, no — but close! While Houston has many wonderful surrounding areas, our celebration will take place in Highlands, Texas, just about 30 minutes outside of downtown Houston. It’s the perfect blend of close to the city yet tucked away for a more intimate feel. The Airports are 35-40 minutes away from the town.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time to park and find your seat. Remember the ceremony starts at 4 PM.

Question

Is the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both our ceremony and reception will take place at the same location for everyone’s convenience. Depending on the weather, the ceremony may be outdoors, so dress comfortably for the season. Parking is available on-site, but we highly recommend Uber or renting a car for the weekend—especially for out-of-town guests, since there will be other optional wedding activities throughout the weekend. For larger groups, Airbnbs are our go-to, and you can also check the Travel tab for a list of nearby hotel options we love.

Question

Can we take photo's during ceremony?

Answer

We have a huge ask — please no phones or cameras during the ceremony. 📵 We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture every special moment, and we truly want you to be present with us as we say “I do.” After the ceremony, feel free to snap away and share all the love!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invitation says “and guest,” you’re welcome to bring a plus-one! If not, we’d love for you to come solo and celebrate with everyone — we promise, you won’t be alone for long! 💃🏽

Question

What should I do if I can’t attend?

Answer

We’ll miss you! Please let us know as soon as possible (expeditiously 😉) so we can plan accordingly.
