Will Christa be making/altering her wedding dress?

No.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The venue is Semi-formal; tuxes and evening gowns are welcome, but so are suits and cocktail dresses. We know you will show up looking fabulous!

Are face coverings required?

Answer

Yes. We ask that you wear a mask covering your mouth and nose for the duration of our event unless you are seated and actively eating or drinking. We want to make this a safe event for everyone in attendance.

Will there be onsite parking?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot across the street available for use after 5pm on the day of the ceremony

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We would love to see your candid shots of the cocktail hour and reception but we ask that our ceremony be unplugged and device free so our photographer can get lots of gorgeous photos that we can share with you.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have a registry here on Zola as well as a registry at Kitchen Window in Uptown! We love supporting our local stores and Kitchen Window is one of the best!

What address should I use if I'm ridesharing?

Answer

The mansion is located at 1900 Lasalle Ave however there is a drop off driveway on the Groveland Ave side of the building. The address to get your Uber or Lyft to that side of the building is 101 Groveland Ave Minneapolis MN 55413

Where are the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are at the Van Dusen Mansion located at 1900 Lasalle Ave

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are hoping to have our ceremony outside in the courtyard weather permitting. If the ceremony is unable to be held outside in the courtyard it will be held indoors in the ballroom.

Does the wedding have a theme?

Answer

We are mixing Russell's love of World of Warcraft with Christa's love of Disney's Tangled. It all kind of boils down to and "enchanted forest" kind of theme.
