We met at a Friday happy hour at Aba in the West Loop. Parfait was out with friends from his MBA program and Christa was out with a girlfriend for an early dinner. Parfait's gregarious friend bought the girls a round of spritz's and before we knew it we were taking tequila shots and dancing the night away at Blind Barber. We were the last ones standing that night and went on our first real date to Juno Sushi a few days later.

We fell in love with Portland, Maine the summer of 2022 and returned for Parfait's birthday weekend this year. Parfait completely surprised me at a gorgeous lighthouse after coaxing me onto the rocks, he got down on one knee. I was in shock as a photographer appeared and captured the entire candid moment. We enjoyed the rest of the weekend eating oysters and lobster rolls and it couldn't have been more perfect. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with all of you.
