Virginia Wine Country

Visiting local wineries is one of our favorite weekend activities! Some of the best in the area are: Stone Tower Winery - A Loudoun County staple and very close to The Manor 1858 868 Estate Vineyards - Great for live music and unique events Bleu Frog Winery - Local, military owned winery with a family-friendly vibe The Winery at Bull Run - Try the Historical Estate Tour for wine with a side of Civil War history Greenhill Vineyards - Quiet and relaxing with some of the best wines in Northern Virginia Bluemont Winery - Best for impressive views and fall foliage

Downtown Leesburg

We love exploring Downtown Leesburg and embracing it's local charm. Our top spots along King Street include: Brick and Mortar Mercantile - A cute shop with unique merchandise Tally Ho - Small concert venue with fun cover bands Señor Ramon's - The best street tacos outside of Mexico Gruto’s - Our favorite ice cream spot Tuscarora Mill - A classic Leesburg establishment with a cozy atmosphere and great food The Huntōn & Diana Lounge - New, upscale additions to Leesburg that have been an instant hit Echelon Wine Bar - Cute wine bar featuring local wines with fun tastings King Street Oyster Bar - Great seafood with a casual vibe

Washington DC

For a classic Washington DC experience, check out the following: Smithsonian Museums - Museum of American History & National Portrait Gallery are some of the best. The National Air & Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center is also located a bit closer to our venue in Chantilly, VA. International Spy Museum - A unique and immersive museum experience Gypsy Kitchen - An eclectic restaurant on 14th Street with a delicious small-plates menu and a chic rooftop Filomena - An iconic Georgetown restaurant with homemade family-style Italian fare Old Town Alexandria - Take a water taxi across the Potomac and enjoy the charm of Old Town Mount Vernon - Visit George Washington's estate for a bit of history, just about 20 minutes from Old Town Alexandria
