It all began in June of 2023, when we matched on Hinge and bonded over our love of Shania Twain. A few days later, we met for our first date at a local brewery for happy hour. What started as Christa thinking she was being catfished when a 60 year old man in a blue quarter zip (which John said he was wearing) approached her asking if she was his blind date, turned into an evening that neither of us wanted to end. From the beginning, our love has felt like it was meant to be. With shared interests (with the exception of our NFL team loyalties), mutual friends, and common Pennsylvania roots, every conversation felt like we were reconnecting with someone we've known forever. Since then, we've started building a life we love. From weekend winery outings, trips to the beach, international vacations, supporting each other through challenging times, and settling into our forever home, we feel so fortunate to have found each other and are thrilled to be entering our marriage surrounded by all of our loved ones. We can't wait for our wedding, not only because we are so excited to celebrate with all of our favorite people, but because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.
