Are children welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask you to refrain from bringing children under 13 years old unless you are immediate family.

By what date should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by Saturday, May 31st, 2025 (4 weeks prior to our wedding date), so we can provide the reception venue with a final guest count by the due date.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 3:00 PM, so please arrive at least 15 minutes prior so we can ensure everyone has been seated before the ceremony begins. More details on the ceremony are available under the "Schedule" tab.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we recommend that our guests stay at The Detroit Marriott Livonia. We have a wedding hotel room block at this hotel which offers our guests a discounted rate. There is also a complimentary shuttle service that runs between this hotel and the reception venue (Laurel Manor). See the "Travel" tab for further details on the hotel, how to book into the room block, and information on the shuttle service. If you would like lodging with additional accommodations (i.e. a single room that sleeps more than 4), feel free to contact us at jwkrugh15@gmail.com for other recommendations.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a complimentary shuttle that will run between The Detroit Marriott Livonia (the main hotel) and the reception venue (Laurel Manor). See the "Travel" tab for additional details on the shuttle service. Please note: the shuttle does not run to and from the ceremony venue (Chelsea First United Methodist Church).
