The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional. Guests can wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie, formal gown, or floor length gown. Keep in mind that the weather during the day in Cascais in June can be warm, so lighter fabrics are recommended.
Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Forte Da Cruz has both indoor and outdoor spaces for us to hang out and celebrate. We recommend bringing a light layer in case it gets cooler in the evening.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to ensure you have time to settle in.
We do not recommend renting a car. Cascais is very accessible, and ride-sharing services like Uber and Bolt are widely available, cheaper, and more convenient. Plus, you'll avoid the hassle of parking and navigating local roads. With these options, getting around is easy and stress-free.
Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs
June in Cascais is typically warm and sunny, with temperatures ranging from 70°F to 80°F (21°C to 27°C). We recommend wearing sunscreen and bringing sunglasses or a hat for daytime events. The temperature and “real feel” can drop significantly once the sun goes down so we recommend bringing something warm to wear for evenings.
For now, we're here to answer any questions you may have. As we get closer to the wedding, we'll introduce a new contact person who can assist you which will allow us to be off the grid and fully enjoy the celebration.
We kindly request that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture the moment, and we would love for you to be fully present with us. However, feel free to take photos during the reception!
No - guests can enjoy all the activities at Hotel Miragem, no matter where they choose to stay! There are plenty of excellent hotels and Airbnbs in the area. However, availability can be limited, so we recommend booking as early as possible!
Yes! We’ll be on vacation time, so we encourage a relaxed, go-with-the-flow vibe to ensure everyone can unwind and enjoy themselves.
We’re keeping the wedding an adults only celebration. That said, we’d love for your kids to join us for the Jeep Tour on Saturday and the Farewell Beach Party on Monday—both are perfect for the whole family! Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you all weekend long!
