Malcolm and Chris have been friends ever since working together at the movie theater while Chris was in college. Over the past 12 years or so of their friendship, there have been many shared hilarious, adventurous, and memorable moments, but Chris knew Malcolm was destined to one day be his best man the day Malcolm shared his HBO account info with him, because only TRUE friends share their streaming service account info with each other.

Ashly is Taylor's sister, who has been there for almost every ballet performance and has always been a supportive big sister. Ashly is the pet lover in the Axene family and would adopt any animal she could! Her love and devotion to her family is something to be admired and what Chris and Taylor hope to have one day. We could not be more grateful to have her up there with us on our big day!
Matt Alostaz

Matt is Chris's oldest little brother. Always stoic and sensical, Matt has always provided Chris with the support, guidance, and perspective he needs, when he needs it and Chris strives to return the favor. They've come a long way from fighting over their power ranger toys growing up and he couldn't be more proud to have him as a part of his wedding and his life.
Cari Burt

As Chris's twin sister, Cari holds a special place in our hearts. They have shared a womb together, rooms, bunk bed, toys (yes, even the barbies), mom-cooked meals, homes, and now, they even share the teaching profession together. Cari cares deeply for those around her and especially to those she loves. Chris was honored to be made the "Man of Honor" at Cari's own wedding. As such, we could not imagine our wedding without her playing this important role. This time we are honored again to have her. Having her love and support means the world to us and Taylor knows she is gaining an amazing sister-in-law!

Steve falls right in the middle of the sibling age-hierarchy. Fun-spirited, athletic, and inquisitive, Steve and Chris have had many a profound conversation together. And with marriage comes all sorts of profundity, so do not be surprised to see them engaged as such during the wedding!

Kelly is a young woman who has so much love and kindness to share. We are so proud of her and the accomplishments she has made in her life. Her bright and sweet personality radiates to those around her and the ones she loves. As the bride, Kelly and I love to bond over girly things such as make-up and shopping, followed by very deep conversation that strengthens our friendship.

Joe is the littlest brother of the bunch. Chris grew up mentoring Joe in the art of video games; something they still bond over today. At times quiet, you can always count on Joe to liven things up with an oddly hilarious comment or interesting facts and observations.

Alyssa has grown up to become a passionate and dedicated young lady. Her passion and love of horses is when she is the happiest. We are happy to have her as our jr. bridesmaid to help the bride get down the aisle in one piece. It is the same role Taylor had in Alyssa's mother, Ashly's, wedding when she was younger.
