AHHH! This is my first gay wedding?
Answer
YAY! This is intended to be a celebration of queer love and joy. Please dress however you'd like, use your preferred spaces, and welcome all fellow guests with open arms. Please join us in honoring and respecting our loved ones by using their preferred pronouns and names throughout the event. Expect to see boys kissing boys!

Can I Bring a +1?
Answer
Formal invitations to come will have the full names of all invited guests, and we ask this not be extended further. If you're unsure in the meantime, please ask us personally!

We love our little ones dearly, AND we kindly request this be an adults-only event.

Where should I stay?
Answer
Please see the Travel page for recommended hotels; we suggest you book early given the number of weddings in the area during the season.

What should I wear?
Answer
We hope that the weather will cooperate with us and we will have wear-anything weather! We encourage everyone to wear what's most comfortable for them. The ceremony and cocktail hour are planned to be outside, with the reception indoors. The event is "formal", however feel free to dress up or down into your comfort zone (dresses, suits, or jumpsuits are all fine!)

How do I get to the Ceremony and Reception Venue?
Answer
We will have a shuttle service between our top recommended hotel and North Shore House before and after the event, please see the Travel page for additional details. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all at North Shore.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes, there is! North Shore House operates as a restaurant and inn year-round. There's a tiny bridge to cross onto the main property, so compact vehicles will have a much easier time.

What if I have a food allergy or sensitivity?
Answer
The main course during the reception will be predetermined for all guests, however orders will still be taken tableside night-of to confirm any food allergies or vegetarian meal requests. North Shore House cannot guarantee a 100% contaminant-free kitchen, so please notify us in advance of any high severity and low threshold reactions.

What about brunch?
Answer
There's no planned breakfast event for Sunday morning, so we'll bid a fond farewell on Saturday night! For guests staying on-site at North Shore House, breakfast will be provided.
