Here are a few recommendations we have for places to eat and things to do during your stay in Cookeville, TN. Most of them are special and memorable to us so we hope you enjoy them too!

Tennessee Tech University

This was our favorite restaurant in Cookeville that we went to at least once a week. We both ordered the "chicken, cheese, and rice" every single time we went.

El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant

This donut shop has giant cinnamon rolls as big as your face. Highly recommend getting one!

Big O Donuts

This is a donut shop that will make you feel like you have stepped into the past. Get served donuts at the bar with the locals.

Ralph's Donut Shop

This is a great ice cream spot. You can get your ice cream and then walk across the street to eat it at the train depot.

Cream City Ice Cream & Coffee House

This is the bakery that is providing our wedding cake. They have great cupcakes and other baked treats!

P-Dilly's Cupcakes

This is a small park with a fountain that we went to in order to get a break from school. It is a nice place to take your food and eat outside. It is also the location that we first told each other "I love you."

Dogwood Park

We watched Frozen 2 at this theater with a big bucket of popcorn right after finishing our very last final exam we would ever have to take.

AMC Movie Theater

This is an axe throwing place. We have never been here before but it could be a fun thing to try while you're here.
