On a chilly Saturday morning during her sophomore year at Notre Dame, Pierina showed up for her very first shift at a new on-campus job delivering cakes to fellow students. As a newbie, she was paired up to shadow another student and learn the ropes—Chris. From the moment they met, something just clicked. Between deliveries, the two spent the entire shift laughing, chatting, and getting to know each other. What started as a simple first day on the job quickly turned into something much sweeter.
