Flight
DIA is pretty far from much of the metro area (~25 miles to downtown Denver, ~42 miles to Boulder). Travel Note
Denver is called the Mile High City because it's literally a mile high! The city sits at 5,280 feet above sea level. Boulder's altitude is slightly higher at 5,430 feet, and our wedding venue is at approximately 5,800 feet. Be aware that the elevation can cause mild altitude sickness and increased exposure to UV rays so be sure to monitor how you feel; drink plenty of water; and wear sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. Consider arriving a day or two earlier to acclimate to the elevation.
