Where should I park for the reception?

Answer

There is limited parking directly in front of the Horticulture Garden Pavilion. We request that these spaces be left for older family members and those individuals with mobility disabilities. You may park in any space marked Visitor, F/S, OR G/C without a permit on the weekends. The following locations are closest to the garden: - Washington St., SW (street parking) - Food Science & Technology Laboratory (360 Duck Pond Dr.) - Litton Reeves Parking Lot (F/S and Visitor parking is available by Steger Hall at 1015 Life Science Circle) - Cassell Coliseum Parking Lot (located at the corner of Washington St., SW & Beamer Way) Please enter the Reception by walking through the Pavilion main entrance.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire. The reception will take place outside in the garden so plan on shoes appropriate for walking on grass and clothing to fit the early summer weather.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Other nearby hotels include: Hyatt Place on 650 University Blvd. (located directly across from the Virginia Tech Inn) Hilton Garden Inn on 900 Plantation Rd. (located in-between the church and garden reception location) Holiday Inn Express 1020 Plantation Rd. Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Transportation will not be provided from the hotel to the ceremony.

Please RSVP by May 1, 2022. Mailed wedding invitations are forthcoming. You may choose to RSVP online or by mail.
