A Picture Is Worth:
"Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans." So true :-) And yet, it's all perfect. We convinced the County of Denver to issue Marriage Licenses remotely. They were wonderful, they made it happen, and this allowed us to honor our original wedding date. April 11th, 2020 we became Mr. and Mr. Luis and Chris Parente-Rios!
Our first moments as a married couple. One of our favorite songs ... "Up The Ladder To The Roof." And this was ... a Supreme Moment :-)
All done by mail. Work from home, get married from home ... so 2020!
A "virtual" wedding has it's benefits. Our family in Italy, our family in Colombia and close friends from near and far were able to join.
An impromptu Zoom surprise reception from our "Gratitude" family made April 11th, 2020 even sweeter.
Why yes, we did a rehearsal the night before. Only to have the power go out 30 minutes before our ceremony. That's when we packed up the laptop, drove to the tv station, and got married in studio!

Our first Christmas together, now that's the Costco size Mistletoe :-)
We've attended a few weddings as guests, what's the big difference this time around :-)
We considered London for our wedding location, but the Queen was afraid we might upstage Harry.
We fell in love with Autumn, and each other ... at the Biltmore!
The "Gratitude" program has been a central part of our commitment, and our growth as a couple.
Luis tried skiing for the first time in Vail last year. Give you one guess who was better on the slopes.
We have the sexiest "officiant" in America. Our dear friend, Laurie, will oversee the big day!
In May, purchased our first home together. Lots of time in the kitchen.
Exploring Colorado together has been such an awesome bonding experience.
We're Great Grand Guncles :-) Getting some "practice" in with our Grand niece, Jemma!
The view is always better, when it's shared.

Life is sweet (and, weirdly enough, spicy).
Who knows where the road will lead us ...
We met on Mother's Day. We have no doubt Betty played a role in that.
We are so ready for y'all to get ON YOUR FEET ... and let's make it happen :-)
